Accordingly, upon accepting the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, the USER must also become aware of and declare their CONSENT to this Policy on Cookies and automated data collection tools, which is intended to explain how such tools work, their purpose, and the ways to enable and disable them.

Therefore, it is essential that the USER carefully read this Policy on Cookies and automated data collection tools before registering on or even browsing the AMIGO SECRETO PLATFORM.

It is very IMPORTANT for the USER to be aware that, although it is the USER's choice whether or not to allow the use of cookies and other data collection tools, the USER's refusal of the application of such tools WILL MAKE IT IMPOSSIBLE TO USE THE PLATFORM FULLY AND PROPERLY.

1. WHAT ARE COOKIES AND DATA COLLECTION TOOLS

Cookies are small data files, with a unique identification tag, that websites ask users' browsers to store, whether on a computer or on any mobile device.

2. WHAT TYPES OF COOKIES DO WE USE?

PERMANENT COOKIES: these are cookies that remain stored in the browser and are used whenever the USER makes a new visit to our PLATFORM. They are generally used to direct browsing toward the USER's interests, with a view to providing a personalized service.

SESSION COOKIES: these are temporary cookies that remain in the cookie file of the USER's browser until the USER leaves the website. The information obtained by these cookies is used to analyze browsing traffic patterns, allowing us to identify problems and provide a better experience.

PREFERENCES: Allows the PLATFORM to retain information that changes the way the site behaves or is displayed, including language, region and others.

It should also be noted that AMIGO SECRETO's PARTNERS are under the obligation to obtain the free, express and unquestionable consent of their users and of the visitors to the websites and other environments in which the PLATFORM's links are shared and/or made available.

Furthermore, AMIGO SECRETO's PARTNERS are fully responsible for complying with the applicable laws and regulations on the protection of personal data, in particular Law 13.709/2018, the General Data Protection Law (“LGPD”), and assume the obligation to obtain the express and unequivocal consent of their users/customers regarding the collection, storage, treatment and processing of personal data, under the terms of the applicable legislation. Accordingly, AMIGO SECRETO shall not be held liable for any failure by its PARTNERS to comply with the regulations in force, and reserves the right to suspend and/or terminate the contract with PARTNERS that are not in compliance with the applicable data protection legislation.

ADVERTISING: Used to target advertising to the USER's interests, improving their experience and seeking to provide greater effectiveness for advertisers.

PROCESSES: Aims to improve the functioning of the PLATFORM, seeking to ensure that USERS find the services and information they expect.

4. IS IT POSSIBLE FOR THE USER TO MANAGE COOKIES?

YES. Although most browsers are set by default to accept cookies automatically, the USER may change this setting by accessing the settings of their own browser, in order to block the use of cookies or to be alerted when cookies are sent to their device.

It should be noted, however, that upon cookies being partially or totally disabled, AMIGO SECRETO may be unable to provide the services offered through the PLATFORM, or this may result in partial and inadequate functioning of its website.

5. CHANGES TO THIS COOKIE POLICY

AMIGO SECRETO reserves the right to change this Cookie Policy at any time, for the purpose of updating its content and meeting the needs of technological improvement or of its features.

In the event of any change to this Cookie Policy, AMIGO SECRETO will notify the USER by means of a publication in a prominent area of the PLATFORM, and will request the USER's express agreement to the changes made.

The USER's continued presence on the PLATFORM, with the use of the tools offered, will be considered as CONSENT of the USER,

6. RESIDENTS OF THE EUROPEAN ECONOMIC AREA.

For the USER located in the European Economic Area (EEA), section 32 of the Privacy Policy prevails over this policy: non-essential cookies are only activated with the consent given in the PLATFORM's cookie notice; refusing them does not prevent use of the PLATFORM; and remaining on the website is not considered consent.
