On the sign-in screen, tap "Forgot password" and enter your account email. If it's registered with us, we'll send you instructions in a few moments. Check your spam folder too: the sender is naoresponder@amigosecreto.com.br.
Make sure you entered the right email, and look in your spam or junk folder. Some providers take a few minutes to deliver. If you need to, sign in with Google on the sign-in screen to request a new email, or contact support.
Reload the page. If you opened the invitation inside WhatsApp, use the option to open it in your phone's browser. If the problem continues, contact support and tell us which step it happened on.
Joining a group
Open the link you received and check the group name. Sign in or create an account to continue. If the group requires approval, your request waits for the organizer.
Use the invitation link if you can. If you're searching by name, check with the organizer exactly how the name is spelled, letter by letter.
The organizer needs to review your request. You can follow it in My groups, on the Join requests screen. While your request is pending, you're not part of the draw yet.
Once names are drawn, the group doesn't accept new members. Talk to the organizer: they can cancel the draw so you can join, then draw names again with everyone.
Organizing and drawing names
Yes. Creating the group, inviting your crew and using the standard draw are all free. The options to choose who you draw or who you don't draw are optional paid features, and you see the price before you buy.
You need at least three approved participants. Before the draw, the organizer also has to handle any pending requests to join.
No. The organizer has to go to the group and draw names. The date helps everyone plan, and the site sends the organizer an email reminder, but the reminder doesn't do the draw for them.
The system assigns names following the rules that apply to the group: no one draws themselves, and any restrictions the organizer sets are respected. There are also paid options to choose who you draw or don't draw. When one of these options is confirmed, it narrows the possible results. Individual choices aren't shown to the other participants.
No. Your selection isn't shown to the other participants or to the organizer. They may know how the feature works, but they never find out who you chose.
Canceling the draw undoes the current round and reopens the group setup. "Draw again" creates a new assignment for the approved participants. Either way, give everyone a heads-up first: someone may already have seen the previous result.
Wish lists and gifts
It's what you'd like to get. Your Secret Santa sees your list and gets the gift right without having to ask. You build your list by picking products in the Showcase or writing down an idea of your own.
Yes. In My wish list, use "Add a wish of my own". Write your idea and, if you like, add a link and a photo.
Yes. Your list stays open as long as the group exists, before and after the draw. Keep in mind that your Secret Santa may already have seen or picked an item.
When you tap "View in store", you go to the advertiser's site. The store confirms the purchase, payment, shipping and delivery.
Messages
It depends on the channel. On the wall, everyone in the group sees your post, and your name shows unless you check "Post anonymously". In secret chats, the screen tells you who gets the message and whether your name shows. Check that before you send.
Inside the group, under Messages, you'll find the draw's secret channel. You can talk to your Secret Santa or to the person you drew, always without revealing who you are.
